Founder Scott Schultz possesses over 30 years of marketing and sales expertise gained initially as an advertising agency account manager after graduating from Indiana University's Kelly School of Business.  Experience in various facets of product marketing parlayed into a successful career in  contract office furnishings beginning in 1987.

Dealer representation of Steelcase in Atlanta provided valuable exposure to the myriad of manufacturers in this complex industry.

Success at the dealership level soon turned to the manufacturing side where Scott enjoyed an award-winning 19-year career with Kimball International servicing Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina.

In 1991, moving nearer his Midwestern roots, he continued to represent Kimball products in Indiana and Kentucky until founding Schultz Marketing Group, Ltd.

Instrumental in Schultz Marketing Group's efforts in the design and product specification process, Melissa Hartman possesses an extensive industry background including 5 years as Design Manager for a leading Indianapolis office furniture dealer.  She holds a degree in Architecture from Ball State University and has worked as a Graduate Architect and Project Manager in the field of architecture.

Melissa is available to our design-industry partners for product consultation and matters as simple as supplying  literature and sample products for review - all in a timely manner.
